accidently disabled badgeprovider and now messaging does work ( samsung s3) #418

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.anything that has to do with the messaging app doesn't work 

Please provide any additional information below.

-it doesnt let me text and see the messages from friends
-tends to close right away whenever I open messaging
