Beatmap freezes when started yet game remains functional #1011

hey guys every time i load a skin my game does this thing where it will run good for about 5-10 minutes then freeze when the beatmap loads in but the game remains functional with no audio and beatmaps just stay frozen. is there any common fix to this problem?

If it only happens with a specific skin, then the skin is at fault. Please use another skin or at very least attach the skin in this thread.

it happens even with the default skin

This is probably going to be an audio driver issue then. Please update your drivers and hope for the best.
