Keyboard input delay when playing osu! #1112

I got a very weird input delay on my keyboard which makes me get 100s on every stream. It feels like my computer recognises the click like 10-15 ms later. I already tried another keyboard, but same difference. I tried like every single thing that is suggested on the first 3 pages of google, but nothing seems to work. I also tried every single option in osu! in different combinations and I am very tired. Maybe you have a clue whats wrong with my computer :(

I got the same issue around 7 years ago, and it went on for like 10 Months and I even switched my motherboard because I thought that might fix it, but it didnt. And somehow I managed to get rid of it, but I forgot how and now its so long ago that I dont remember :(

10-15ms is normal expect input latency. How are you measuring?

Oh, then it must be way more. It feels completly off. I didn‘t measure it exactly, 10-15 ms was just my feeling. Is there a way to measure it halfway decent so I can tell you how much delay it is?

best way to describe it from the way I see it is, that when I tap perfectly with the rhythm the bar is constantly near the edge before I would get 100, but thats on OD 7-8. When I play with HR its impossible not to get only 100s for me.

I recently got a bunch of new computer hardware and didnt play osu! since then, but when I tried like 3 weeks ago I immediatly felt the delay. I did not had it since 7 years, so its pretty frustrating right now :/

It all sounds like osu! may not be running exclusive fullscreen mode. Try turning on compatibility mode and ensure you're running the game fullscreen.
