Taiko frame stuttered when hitted if fps set limited #1146

Actually not only taiko, but also mania. This problem would not be noticeble if fps set to unlimited or just high as 480fps.

Not sure sorry. There's no game logic which would cause this to happen. It might be something to do with your sound card or system setup.

Have you tried lazer to see if it happens there too?

I've tested with 3 different setup, and even external DAC, this problem still exist.

Not happen with Lazer.

My guess is it's something in replay playback, if you're always using the same method of playback or watching the same replay.

Try actually playing the game.

There's no issue when actually playing, but if I have to watch playback this is kinda annoying. I would like to know if this is planned to fix?

Thanks for confirming.

If it's already fixed on lazer, then that's the fix, yes. Stable is feature locked so I am not sure it will be able to be fixed there. It's likely not a simple one (and this is the first time anyone has reported it in 15 years).
