Discord is making my osu! frame drops #1168

If I play osu! while my discord it's open I get frame-drops. If i close it all frame-drops dissappear. One week ago this didn't happened at all. I already turned off everything in discord, i use game mode, I optimized my osu!, tryed compatibility but still have frame drops while discord its open.

Please attach logs after reproducing on cutting edge.

Also please post any changes you made in the last week to your hardware or software.

Those are logs after reproducing on cutting edge. I had the discord app open. I played only 1 map, in which i had like 3 or 4 frame drops.

In last week I changed to my hardware:

Thermal paste on video card and CPU In last week I changed to my software:
Activated Game Mode -Deactivated Game Bar
Put Osu! on high performance on Graphic Settings in Windows
I changed settings in discord in order to have less frame drops but didnt worked.
I tryed every setting in osu and didnt worked

To start with, can you try disabling game mode and see if it helps?

Note that I am not condoning leaving it disabled, but we'e currently investigating a potential issue with discord and game mode (see https://github.com/ppy/osu-stable-issues/issues/1166).

I disabled Game Mode, those are logs for that in which i played same map and watched a replay. During replay wasnt any frame drop and during playing there was 1 frame drop.

I will still play and see if there are more frame drops or game mode disabled helps.

Update: After switch off Game Mode I can play even on Unlimited without frame drops. That was the issue, thanks.

I've pushed a hotfix for this to cutting edge. Please test and make sure it resolves your issue (and please turn game mode back on).

If so, please close this issue. You can continue to watch the thread over at https://github.com/ppy/osu-stable-issues/issues/1166 as we will likely investigate this further.
