Pressing CTRL + Backspace will always get you out of spectator, even with chat open. #1209

While this shortcut might be intended, it doesn't make much sense that pressing it with the chat open deletes the last "word" and also makes you exit from spectator.

As someone who uses CTRL + Backspace a lot when writing it is infuriating talking to someone while spectating them and poof, you're out of spectator.

Might be useful to add that I've never experienced this before, I don't know if I just didn't notice until now or if there's something else wrong atm. It just seems like a silly shortcut to have anyway imo.

Both CTRL keys act the same, thought it might be another shortcut issue since I have quick retry binded to LCtrl but it really isn't.

okay its just a pause shortcut thing, had backspace binded to game pause and that caused it to get out of spectator
