Random freezes in osu!catch multiplayer

I am not sure if this is only occuring for osu!catch. But I and many other players are getting random freezes in the middle of multiplayer lobbies, which is extremely frustrating for tournaments. Freezes can vary from a few frames to 2-3 seconds, and happening in every 4-5 maps, sometimes multiple times per map. There is no noticable reason for it to happen gameplay-wise (like no sudden high density pattern or anything).

Some observations:

• When there is "beatmap difficulty calculations running in the background", a freeze happens in multiplayer if a beatmap calculation fails (and I get an error message on the result screen).
• Some players are able to reduce the freezes' frequency by closing Discord.
• This didn't happen as often (or even at all) around 2 years ago, so I think it might have came from a somewhat recent update.
• This doesn't happen to me in solo, some players told me that it happens to them, but not everybody, so I guess it's not the same issue.

Need performance logs when running under cutting edge. Can’t do or say anything without.

Although my current logs are not from playing in multiplayer, I get the exact same issues in solo, and in multiplayer. performance.log attached to this. performance.log

The logs need to be specifically from the reported scenario. Immediately after reproducing, without restarting osu!.
