3 years ago See #5852 for longer-form discussion on this (which this issue can be considered as a duplicate of); the most recent consensus was that the end-all be-all solution is to add a tagging system of sorts to avoid this popping up over and over again.
In the last 3 years, we've been getting a considerable amount of Portuguese songs to the Ranked section, previously to some beatmaps we already had in the past, and some were even made by non-Brazilian mappers. I think it's about time to add a Portuguese language filter to the beatmap listing page, as Brasil is a really big country and we get several new players in the #portuguese chat and in other parts of the community wanting to play Portuguese songs. It's also relevant to have that added because not all maps have ''brasil'' ''português'' and other terms in their tags, especially the famous Pending/WIP, Graveyarded ones, so that'd definitely make the search easier in the future.
I also wanna state that we already have languages such as Italian, Swedish, and Polish that don't even have many songs in the Ranked section, but they exist in the filter anyway, so I don't see why not add Portuguese as well.
