In stable, you could search for star rating while you have a mod active and the game would only show maps that are in that star rating after mods. This behavior is not present in lazer, and while I know there are plans to make the map browser useable in the future, something simple like this should be prioritized, as it makes playing anything aside from NM a pain in the ass
