9 months ago Once the game is in that state, can you alt-f4 to exit the editor? I'm just wondering because in your logs it shows you opening settings and scrolling through different sections.
My thinking is that your GPU driver has crashed. Maybe you can confirm by checking whether you can still hear audio when you hit space to pause/resume editor.

9 months ago Ok, so i have some new details. Sometimes it just freezes for a couple of seconds, one time hitting alt-f9 to start recording helped. And there is a correlation between the time spent in editor without touching this menu and the time that game freezes for.

It seems that it was that time when alt-f9 helped

I tried, it didnt work, but after some time it jumped to the "do you want to save the map" screen (like after 10 seconds)

Bug description
Gameplay completely freezes after hovering mouse over left toggle menu, only after some time spent in editor, cant figure out exact circumstances. Sometimes it freezes just by hovering, sometimes white hovering and scrolling at the same time (as shown at the video). Then only killing osu completely helps (by desktop manager) If you try to do it immidietly after entering editor, everything behaves as usual
