• A very well-written book that I am reading along with the project development is:
  • _Eric Evans 2003 - _Domain-Driven Design - Tackling Complexity in the Heart of Software__ This book is a great tool for professional software developers and it has been recommended by people who I truly respect. It explains different concepts of efficient and flexible highly coupled/ decoupled software engineering practices. There are many conventions that I have already applied in the project structure when configuring the package hierarchy and Spring application context.

• Another useful reading tool that I use to make sure I keep the system at a high coding standard is the _Software Engineering_ book by Ian Sommerville, edition 9. It also presents professional tools and practices in software development.

• Currently to make client-database communication as well as backend transactions more efficient I am willing to install a transactional/ session management tool since the change of the DataSource is restraining me from using Hibernate. Hibernate was the session manager I had installed and configured for MySQL. I have looked at many websites and discussions and am yet to find an optimal solution for MongoDB.
