The sensor values at the moment represent direct resistor information and are measured in kilo Ohms regarding CO and NO2 and dB (decibels) considering noise. The SCK team have decided to use this approach as they are now trying to come up with an efficient formula for sensor calibration so that they can ensure that the readings are accurate (check #35 ). One of the formulae suggests using a standard/ mean value for the two measures and then comparing each sensor reading to that to evaluate the value in _ppm_ (parts per million) which can be easily translated to the system users using standard scaling methodology as presented here: #47

The major purpose of the map system is to enable tendencies/ patterns recognition, in other words, difference in data readings, so sensor calibration is not a prime task.
