Help setting up mappings - modifier keys #2585

I’m working on getting my Razer Tartarus Pro setup properly. I'm using it with Photoshop (Ps). I am struggling with two outstanding issues and help would be greatly appreciated.

  1. I want to map some of the buttons to be modifier keys ONLY. For instance, the 16 key should be the shift button. The Thumb button (above the D-Pad) should be the Option key… this way I can push down shift or option with any number of other keys on the pad as I work in Photoshop to modify the tool I’m in.
  2. I want to be able to push a key on the Razer but not have it fully engage and “switch” the Ps tools. Example: using the regular keyboard with Ps to zoom in, you can be using the brush tool, hit and hold “Z” key, use the mouse to zoom in and out, and then when you release the Z key, the brush tool is still active. (Right now, if I click and hold the key I have mapped to Z, it switches fully to the Zoom tool that Z initiates, rather than just temporarily zooming in while I hold the Razer key)

Thanks in advance for the help!

Is simple modification [1] not working?

Can you please post EventViewer's [2] output of both cases?
