Several PC-Style Shortcuts don't work in Emacs

Several of the shortcuts here work fine in most MacOS programs but break Emacs. The following shortcuts have problems in Emacs:

• PC-Style Copy/Paste/Cut: Typing Ctrl-x acts in Emacs as if I've typed Cmd-x (Alt-x or M-x in Emacsspeak)
• PC-Style Find made Ctrl-f act like I'd typed M-f (Alt-f)
• PC-Style Bold/Italic/Underline(Ctrl+B/I/U) made C-b behave like M-b
• Switching command/opt (done in simple modifications) causes cmd-return to do nothing when the cursor is on an org-mode headline (should act like M-return)
• Something I can't find is preventing Cmd-downarrow from behaving like M-downarrow when on a headline in org-mode

Emacs version

• GNU Emacs 27.2 (build 1, x86_64-apple-darwin18.7.0, Carbon Version 158 AppKit 1671.6) of 2021-03-27
• brew install --cask emacs-mac
