Karabiner-Elements has (near) duplicate entries for one keyboard #3469

My copy of K-E lists two devices for both my MacBook Pro keyboard and my Keychron Q1 Pro, as indicated in the attached screen grab. Only one of them was made able to "modify events", however. (And the non-functional copy also has a little oval icon next to the keyboard icon, for reasons I'm not able to discern.) I wasn't able to find anything in the manual about this, so any info/suggestions would be welcome.

This behavior is expected because the keyboard itself contains two devices. Specifically, it has two entries: one for a keyboard+mouse composite device and one for the keyboard alone.

@tekezo Thank you for your response. It was unexpected to receive your reply amidst such a massive project and a huge number of issues. I appreciate your contribution to this project!

You're right, this should be expected because one has a mouse, and the other doesn't.

Having two keyboards appear at the same time seems to cause some issues. If neither of the two keyboards has the Modify event checked, then it will behave abnormally, especially in relation to case sensitivity and input method switching.

I would like to ask you, how can I remove the current recognition records, or how can I avoid this impact? I have tried to reflash the firmware for the keyboard, but there are still two devices showing in devices. I have looked up many issues and materials on my own, but I have not found a solution. I hope to receive your assistance.
