Application Switcher condition #3750

would be awesome to have a condition to exclude a Complex Modification when Application Switcher is open.

I want to remap "Hide ..." from command + h to command + esc. A complex modification does this great except for when the App Switcher is open.

Scenario:

  1. hold command
  2. press tab
  3. decide against switching apps
  4. press esc to close the App Switcher (this now hides the focused App instead of closing the App Switcher)

I've used Alfred and Raycast to remap instead. it mostly works, but is slow and unreliable. Karabiner elements on the other hand is fast and reliable except for the one caveat. And it would be the more ideal place to put this modification in my mind
