ctrl a, ctrl e, ctrl n and ctrl p not working in iTerm2 #895

Right after installing Karabiner, with zero configuration, ctrl+a/e/n/p are not working, though ctrl+d and ctrl+u do. This is weird and there is nothing pointing to where the problem could be. I am using two external apple magic keyboards 2 and a catalina

never mind it was my fault, just coincidense
