Events do not disappear from claiming screen after they are finished #151

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create an event that lasts 2 days
2. Wait 2 days
3. look for it on the claiming screen anytime during the 3rd day

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

You will still see the event on the 3rd day but you should not.
