Just landed the https://github.com/syl20bnr/spacemacs/pull/14014 so your guide needs an update. Concerning removal of the screenshot - I don't think it pays off to have a (mostly empty) screenshot with just three lines:

a -> absolute-line-numbers
r -> relative-line-numbers
v -> visual-line-numbers

The line numbers page has been refactored to show the differences between the three line number styles, something that was lacking previously.

I've updated the documentation to note the change in the key bindings for the menu. Thank you.
