"Back to Top" Button flickers while scrolling toward the top of page #681

What's happening?

When scrolling up on a page, on a device with a high DPR, it is possible that the "Back to top" button will flicker.

Reproducer

  1. Go to https://pradyunsg.me/furo/customisation/#light-css-variables-dark-css-variables
  2. Scroll up, slowly. Notice the flickering.

Expectation

There should be no flickering.
