CVE-2021-23440 (High) detected in set-value-2.0.1.tgz - autoclosed #170
Path to dependency file: /sdk/resourcemanager/package.json
Path to vulnerable library: /sdk/resourcemanager/node_modules/set-value/package.json,/sdk/batch/microsoft-azure-batch/node_modules/set-value/package.json,/eng/mgmt/node_modules/set-value/package.json
This affects the package set-value before <2.0.1, >=3.0.0 <4.0.1. A type confusion vulnerability can lead to a bypass of CVE-2019-10747 when the user-provided keys used in the path parameter are arrays.
Mend Note: After conducting further research, Mend has determined that all versions of set-value up to version 4.0.0 are vulnerable to CVE-2021-23440.
:heavy_check_mark: This issue was automatically closed by Mend because the vulnerable library in the specific branch(es) was either marked as ignored or it is no longer part of the Mend inventory.
