Verify can:

install EpiNow2 package
execute something from vignettes in it

turns out I misremembered what's available in the package, but you can do the target test of install by checking the steps described in the repository: https://github.com/epiforecasts/EpiNow2 (scroll down through the README to see some basic examples).
