Xiph XSPF is the free format for playlists available in most players on GNU/Linux and other platforms. Winamp M3U is a de facto standard, but somewhat dated.
Users must have as they handle all your playlist with XSPF and are accessible from Pragha, but I can not create new lists directly and should use another player.
