Awesome contribution! We would love to use streamlit-molstar in a new project.

Would it be possible to add an open-source license to the repository such as MIT license or BSD-3c?

@zrqiao Thank you for the feedback. I tend to prefer the MIT or more flex license. However, part of the code in this repository has been ported from some non-Streamlit open-source projects, such as Pocket's visualization. A better implementation might be updated in the future (as we did in the corresponding Dash project). Before that, we need to find some time to check whether the licenses of these cherry-picked codes are compatible.

For the pocket visualization component, refer to the license of p2rankweb.
Main project licensed under MIT License

There are also some visualization snippets from Molstar's official viewer app and other sources. These snippets are somewhat scattered, and if any license issues arise, they will be continuously tracked here.
