During the summertime we were able to simply set a duty cycle for each relay and forget, but as weather has turned cooler, it is clear that we need to be able to modulate the duty cycle based on how effective cooling or heating are. Keep track of how long cooling or heating have been on, and how much temperature has changed, and dial back or dial up the duty cycle to limit or increase the rate of change. Keep track of the efficiency over time so that each time cooling or heating kicks on, it starts at the same rate that was used previously.
This is in place, and has been for a full day, however I haven't been able to verify that it is really working, other than that the beer has been held at the correct temperatures.
