No notification of incoming call when the app runs in the background

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the app and wait to be connected
2. Enable the "Backgrounding" option
3. Close the app
4. Make a call to your inbound number

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected - Notification of an incoming call.
Instead - the app runs in the background, and when i open the app the call is 
answered.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iPhone 4, ios 4.1

Please provide any additional information below.
If this is not a defect, I would appreciate if you could let me know if this 
enhancment is planned

Currently, when you enable the background support, you have to rerun siphon.
Kill siphon (bottom bar task) and relaunch Siphon. 

Background works with tcp connection only (apple feature).

I am experiencing similar problems. Is this issue related to being at 4.1, is 
there any advantage on upgrading to 4.3.2 or 4.3.3?
