Thanks for the Reply. We have been using Rapla for several years now, and it
has been working great!!
The problem may be fixed*. During my troubleshooting, I installed the 1.8.2
upgrade (from 1.8.1). I hadn't done a server reboot after that just a
Stop/Start of the Rapla Service while overwriting the Rapla files. After a
server reboot, the Monthly calendar was lined up correctly from the 2 computers
I tested with. I will know more when our staff starts showing up in a few hours.
To answer your questions:
-We are in the Alaska Time zone. Usually GMT -9 I believe. I have Rapla set
to the America/Anchorage time zone.
-Problem was happening in the Java client. Only for the Monthly view. Weekly
Calendar view had the day lined up correctly (i.e. July 1st was properly
showing up under Wednesday, while on Monthly calendar it showed up under
Tuesday).
*This may be an intermittent problem, as I had a couple of staff say it was
happening to them earlier in the week, and then mysteriously cleared up on its
own. This was the first time I saw it myself. Was happening to me on 2
computers one with Java client 8u45 and another with the new Java 8u51. I also
upgraded the Rapla server yesterday to Java 8u51 (from 8u45) after I noticed
the issue. The Java upgrade on the server did not clear up the issue for me.
Here is the order of things:
1. Had reports earlier in the week from 2 staff who said their Monthly calendar
was off, but both said it cleared up on its own. I did not see the issue on my
computer, or other computers up until step 3 below.
2. Last night, Installed Windows updates on server hosting Rapla and rebooted
3. Installed Java 8u51 client on my computer. Then attempted to test Rapla.
The Rapla shortcut was broken on my computer after the Java update, so ran
Rapla from webpage hosted on our Rapla server.
4. Rapla ran fine, but noticed the Monthly Calendar issue
5. Cleared Java Cache on my computer, and ran Rapla from webpage again. Still
saw Calendar issue.
6. Test Rapla from another computer with Java 8u45 installed and saw monthly
Calendar issue there too.
7. Upgraded Java on Rapla server to 8u51 (from 8u45). Stopped Rapla service,
Installed Java, Started Rapla service again.
8. Still saw Monthly calendar issue on both computers I was testing with.
9. Tried adjusting Day 1 of week setting
Files>Administrator>Options>Admin-Options>Calendar.
10. After changing I did a restart of Rapla from File>Administrator>Restart
Server. This did not fix the issue.
11. Rebooted Server that Rapla server is installed on, Cleared Java Cache on
test computer and ran Rapla Java client again on my test computer. This
appeared to fix the problem. At least for the 2 test computers I was usin

I noticed tonight when I logged on to Rapla the monthly calendar is goofed up
again. Same issue. The days of the week do not match up properly.
Everything off by one day. Tried a server reboot, but problem is persisting.
Any ideas on how I can fix the issue?

Follow up to email from last night. When I logged on to Rapla this morning,
the monthly calendar was showing correctly. So, the issue seems to be
intermittent & seems to clear up on its own after an unspecified time. Server
reboots & Rapla restarts don't seem to fix it.
