Can't add a new icon - Githubissues

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I have a Scientific Linux
2. It is a "?" on the burg panel
3. I made "grey_sl.png""large_sl.png""small_sl.png" and put them in /icons and 
add "  -scientific { image = "$$/grey_sl.png" }"and the same words in "grey" 
and so on.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The icon on the panel become which I made. Still the "?".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

1.98+20100623-1  Ubuntu/Scientfic Linux/Windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.

My English is not good, wish you can read it.^_^

I have the same problem too. I am usin elementary OS it doesn't show on the 
list. And even not start the graphical interface for burg.
