Rules and Incentives for Developers

Developers will be able to show off games that they have been working on and receive face to face feedback with developers.

Ideas: Developers build a themed indie game for indie game con.

• Themed games must have a QR code marker at end of game demo for attendees to scan to track progress through app.
• Themed games must include a leader-board, score or time based.
• Exception: Have a unfinished or non-themed game table that does not include the QR code feature. Not part of main activities.
• Developers create and submit unique 3D token used as a stamp in the AR app. Submitted by a certain date, or will use a default IndieGameCon 3D token. (would need 3D modeler for token)
• Developers get an additional set of QR codes they can hide at their table for the scavenger hunt AR app.

Incentives and Prizes:

• Developers will get featured on the IndieGameCon website.
• Developer who gets the most played gets a prize.
• Developer who gets highest rating gets a prize.
• Possible publisher connections for highest rated?
• Donation of Developer Kit from sponsor?
• Gift card
• Coffee prize
• Cash prize
