backspace not working in x10 mini pro default keyboard

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. connect by wifi
2. Use keyboard (defualt x10 mini pro KB, portrait/physical)
3. Type some characters and press backspace

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- it should delete the characters but it doesns't.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- pc: winXpPro
- phone: x10 mini pro, 2.1

Please provide any additional information below.
- using another KB app solves it. Physical keys backspace works when current KB 
in use is not the defaullt sony KB. 
- Revert to default KB and problem will return.
