Serialization bugs on Opera/Win/non-EN due to cloneNode #15

Due to a bug in Opera/Windows on some non-English locales, serializing the
SVG has periods turned into commas. This only occurs when cloneNode or
importNode is used on the element. So, I suggest an alternative is used to
using cloneNode in the script.
