Thread for ideas anyone has about cool worlds/planets, either as homeworlds for the various 5e races, or something new!

In the process of writing up a radiation burned planet without significant magnetosphere where dwarves evolved to live under the surface, and a tidally locked planet where elf-like things are from! Doesn't really have to be elves for the second one, I'll post it soon!

Now working on a thick gas / venus style planet where a flying elf-like species evolved in the upper atmosphere and lives on floating platforms roped together that float around the plant. But dangerous monsters lurk in the depths of the atmosphere below....
