Laggy desktop #1199

I just installed EndeavourOS with i3wm and then switched to Hyprland. With animations turned on, the desktop is laggy, though CPU and memory usage is low. When I disable animations on Super+Alt+G it gets a little better, however still not smooth. I also tried commenting force_no_accel = 1, but it didn't help.

What Display manager are you using?

but after that I couldn't even get pass the login screen, as the desktop wouldn't even load

What do your logs say?
