Script is not working correctly not on any arch distro it's only installing 2 or 3 themes and doing nothing more not even customizing visual studio code previous versions of your scripts were working fine I tried so much times but script just ends after installing 2 or more themes not even customizing sddm pls fix this as soon as possible I'm using your customizations for the long time I'm used to it.

It just freezes, right?

I do not know a fixed to stop it from hapenning, but you can continue installing HyDE by just installing a single theme first. Modify this file and opt in a theme you want to install. ./Scripts/themepatcher.lst
image

you can just install it later with Hyde theme patch image

or you can try to install using Hyde-install too. So you can have some interactive installation.

Installed this on clean Arch install with Kernel: Linux 6.9.3-273-tkg-pds - no freezing issues.

All packages and dependencies were installed manually before running "Scripts/install.sh".

I did read each script and .lst file to comment out things I did not want like zsh, fish, lsd, starship. (Personal preference to keep bash and kitty).

Themes are working 100% (I did comment out the themes for sddm as I am happy with the one I had installed previously. However they are available for me to simply switch to.)

I had some problems with themes when i installed it from scratch, mainly I only had 1 theme and sddm was not working. My system started from tty and I had to type Hyprland to start it.

I rebooted the system a few time without doing nothing, you know old meme that rebooting solve every problem.

From there i tought "well it's a new system" i do not have anything to risk.

I run ./install.sh again and it went through the installation of the remaining themes (i have 12 now) and it also asked me which sddm themes I wanted to install.

After running ./install.sh a second time (first time after minimal arch installation) and second time after login everything worked, even when I reboot the machine, basically itś fixed
