Cannot play mp3 #1146

When I upload an mp3 I can select it and an mp3 player appears. But I am not able to start it. Same goes for a bmp or jpg: i can select it, but the preview shows a small transperant (checkered) image. Do I miss some library? I am not familiar with PHP, so sorry for ignorance of same basics here. Tiny File Manager mp3

did you change the root_path ? root_path and http_host should sync in same path

I tried some values, still not working.

Could it be because the mp3 files are outside the public_html folder? tinyfilemanager.php is in [root] /domains/[mydomain].com/public_html/filemanager/tinyfilemanager.php the media files are in [root] /media/2022/events/bla.mp3 tinyfilemanager is able to browse the files, I can upload and download When I click the "Open" button in the player (see screenshot) I get a 404

You can try updating the new version of the file and then refreshing it.

The file should be placed in the same directory or in a folder under the directory tinyfilemanager.php

I understand that this will work. But in progeams like filerun this is not nessesary. Apperantly they create either a copy or a link with appropriate rights

The mechanism of each software is different, tinyfilemanager can only run like this! Thank you for your understanding!
