Releasing the jar as a Maven POM #11

I've been asked whether the packaged JAR file is available in maven. As far as 
I'm aware it is not. I'm happy to create a suitable maven POM once I understand 
the process and have time to do so.

Did you get a chance to get this done ? We could for sure use a mavenized 
version of this .
