Any way to block incoming cellular calls whilst on a VOIP call #174

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Be talking on Siphon.
2. Incoming Cellular call comes in.
3. VOIP call is dropped.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I don't want my calls to be dropped. I would like to be able to block
incoming calls while I'm talking on SIP.

Please provide any additional information below.
I don't even know if this is possible. Any solution to this problem would
have to be a big hack. Probably by using MobileSubstrate. Even still it may
be impossible. But I think its worth looking into.

Logically if you decline incoming cellular call, SIP call continues.

You are right. I just tested it.

There are a few seconds where the call just seems to go dead (if your phone is
on
silent) before you feel any vibration and notice that a call is coming in.

We need to automatically reject it somehow so there is minimal (if any)
interruption
to the SIP call.

I have my celluar calls forwarded directly to my voice. Using the forwarding
feature under phone setting.
must get your voice mail direct dial number from your carrier. It would be good
if boss prefs or SB setting
had a toggle for the forwarding feature.

I'd like to see this handled by Siphon, or else a separate app running as a
daemon
that detects whether Siphon is running and turns on and off call forwarding.

I will often either forget to turn on call forward or forget to turn it off
again.

It would be good to be able to forward any incoming calls to your SIP number,
so they
could be presented by siphon, and the user choose to accept or not.

I would also like to suggest that siphon switches to silent mode when SIP call
comes
in while in a middle of cellular call.
