  1. A very nice historical account of probability: The Science of Conjecture: Evidence and Probability before Pascal
  2. Probability theory (Courant Lecture Note) by Varadhan is one of the best I've read.
  3. Probability, Random Variables and Stochastic Processes by Papoulis is a very good intro to Probability.
  4. And I really enjoyed "The Elements of Statistical Learning".

I think I noticed Papoulis while compiling, but think it slipped while taking notes.

But hadn’t heard of the other 2. Thanks for the note!
