I saw that some files use .rmd as a file extensions to indicate this is an R markdown file.
I wondered if that is a recommended convention or not (I prefer lowercase, so I'd be pro!).
However, wherever I look, I find Rmd being used, such as:
To prevent other people doing the same investigation, I suggest to rename the R markdown file extensions to Rmd, to conform to what is expected/recommended by the literature.
@pratikunterwegs (I ask you, as you are the only one that did not follow this convention): is there a reason I misses that makes the case for using rmd (instead of Rmd) as an R markdown file extension?
