mouse doesn't respond if initiated on right mid side of touch pad

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. If finger meets right side of touch pad first then mouse will not respond
2. Right side top works fine but right-mid and right-bottom do not respond

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Mouse should move and perhaps after moving finger to left side it should kick 
in. It does not and will not move again until I lift finger and press an area 
that responds. It will detect my movement if initated from the left side and 
move to the right though.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Droid 2 Global       vanilla, stock ect
