Potential memory leak #780

I'm using Kiwi as a front end for a local ZNC session on a hosted server. Whenever the page is refreshed or a new instance is loaded, Kiwi isn't releasing it's share of RAM. After a few days of using KiwiIRC at work, it ended up exhausting my RAM and pagefile. Each new refresh of KiwiIRC makes RAM usage jump 300kb. It also seems to be polling ZNC repeatedly and asking for the time.

Can you paste an example log of it polling ZNC for the time? Not sure I understand this part.

I'd have to recreate the bug where it constantly attempts reconnecting to the IRC server after a failed password attempt. It turns out that it may have had an instance of itself open even when I'd closed the tab KiwiIRC was running in, and I'd checked it using lsof and stat on a friend's advice. I had copies of these results but I didn't save the gists.

As for the RAM usage, it still goes up after each use of KiwiIRC. I end up running ./kiwi restart after a few days to flush the leaked memory.
