Lg WebOS Tv #35

Hello,wanted to say that the lgwebos theme is kinda buggy and does not really work properly.Will there be any improvements?

I am working on improving tv theme but I won't come for atleast 2 months as I am currently working on other projects. You can currently checkout sassify branch of JellySkin as that is going to used as the base for jellyflix once I complete rewritting it in sass

Hi,thanks for the response.What exactly do you mean by this?I have used the jellyskin theme for a while,and it's even buggier than jellyflix

I know that it is also buggy on tv too and also in some other places that is why I am rewritting it

Just tried the new version.Nice work.But it's basically unusuable on tv,with it running so bad to the point where anything takes seconds to work.The logos don't work,the color when selecting stuff is the blue default,the resume and other buttons look weird and glitched out,i guess it just wasn't meant out to work on tvs

Yeah TV ui is a bit tricky and partly because of the webui.

The webOS app does allow you to disregard custom CSS sent by the server which is great is you want to have a theme on the rest of the devices but not the TV.

Webos client uses jellyfin web but it is modified a bit and I have no way of testing on it, that's why it is tricky

Hey, I am facing the same problem. This UI looks great on Laptop but looks terrible on TV. I wanted to ask @MrVoid23 what alternatives are you using currently?

On my samsung TV, it's the same the theme isn't properly working.
