Patch 2 #62

Same basic bug, but there were a couple of logging methods that we weren't using and that, consequently, didn't find their way into the previous patch.

I squashed this and reworded the commit message to explain why the change was necessary (which I hope I'm right about): The methods were being incorrectly mapped to invalid syslog priorities. This is uploaded to CPAN as v1.701. Thanks!
