A similar kind of brokenness as in https://github.com/preaction/Beam-Runner/issues/13 shows up in Statocles. These is one of my fail reports:

Same perl with Role-Tiny 2.006 passes.
@ether: may I suggest a revert with 2.006 == 2.008 and then continue with TRIAL releases for 2.009?
