Does WMR work with "react" instead of "preact/compat"? #883

Pretty sure this is a stupid question but...does it?? :-P

the reason I ask is that I want to try "react" to see if it solves a problem I'm having using prop-types where although I provide the prop I still get an error about missing a required prop
