Sarah met with Trevor to review previous named subplots of other contracts to get a feel for what these contract subplot will look like. Created a sheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1D8ZYGThzbROuH84VldVCJMo8oasxFzCZ/edit?gid=1322565186#gid=1322565186 of database entries for each contract.
Contract ingestion looks like:
get contract number
link it to grower
review various experimental designs
if P = PEP experimental design; if S = one of several types of treatments like rootstock/ scion combos or fert trts. if R = reset, usually change the trees
review the treatments in the contract map
decide what the design is and name the subplots
enter the subplots, sites, and the contracts in a spreadsheet
import sheet into database @trevorjpuckett
export csv with grower's Kobo user id >contract > subplot > site associated groups
import into Kobo
All these steps to do prior to releasing the Kobo grower survey. Would like to launch survey in Sept, 2024. Growers planted in June 2024, and are pending payments based on their first survey entry.
