PMC user in Maryland called and said that he couldn't get the camera to connect to the app. After questioning further, I found that he had the same issue another user was having in researcher mode, where the settings were configured correctly but they only see a spinning circle on the data collection screen.
This user also mentioned that he had to enter a new plot ID every time he would leave the app and come back while troubleshooting this issue - it's likely that this is an unfortunate side effect of the app avoiding filename duplication
This user has the newest app version, 1.0.23. I told the user that once he uploaded his previous data from the first timing that I could possibly give him an older version of the app so that he could connect his camera, as I suspect that this issue is present in the new update.
