IE11: Can't select the date in calendarpicker when in edit mode #777

Description

This is an IE11 issue only. When a date column is put in edit mode, can't select a date in calendar picker.

This is reproducible in test files as well as the demo/more column types tab when trying to edit column birthdate.

This works fine in all other browsers, Chrome, FF58 and safari10.
