Just wondering... would it be possible to make some sort of advent calendar? #85

You could go to a npc once a day and get some sort of random gift or whatever?

Yeah, month to go so this should be possible, we should discuss the details a little there are a few technical difficulties in regards of scheduling etc. but nothing we can't fix in the given time window.

Can it be 'I' items, 'Y' items and money?

Well if possible the gifts could be anything from cash to weapons to cars etc. But we basically just need to go for whatever is possible and is relatively easy.

My plan is essentially a shop, instead of opening a shop we just use handleInv to give the player gear, or add to their cash or add a yItem depending on whats on for the day, the uid of the player is then saved in the shop so the player cant activate the shop until the next restart.

This is a simple way to implement it but has 2 downsides:

you need to change the file every time you want to change the gift
if the server restarts more than ones people can get the gift potentially multiple times

After thinking a bit more about it I would suggest we do cash during normal work days and only give a item or gear gift out over the weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) to keep the work down and limit the amount of complicated gifts we have to come up with ^^ max 12 in total, what do you think @CeltS-Dubbz261 ?
