Exception Code 5103 Querying Data - Duplicate fields on custom app #91

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Log in to connector
2. Select custom app table
3. Select any field(s) that are duplicated (this is the problem, but I don't 
know why)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see rows of data, but I get the error ExceptionCode: 5103

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?  With
what Salesforce.com edition?
16.1 - 11/22/10
Win 7 Professional SP1

Please provide any additional information below.
When I attempt to select the fields in the custom table, I see that several are 
duplicated, but I do not know why.  They are not duplicated in the custom app.  
If I select a field that does not have a duplicate, I do not get the error.  
Can you help in determining why the fields are showing up more than once?  This 
is the first time I have created a custom app.  Thanks!!!

I had a similar issue but works fine after changing the API to 27.0

I've used the Excel Connector for years and years. I have tried every possible 
and conceivable fix, update, etc endlessly to no avail. 

It's still broken and it's brokwn for a ton of people

Same here. No amount of changing of the number after /c/ yield a successful 
logon
